Bookings

A date is confirmed once a booking agreement is signed and the retainer has been received. Until both are in place the date remains available to other enquiries.

Quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

Payment

A retainer is payable on booking and is applied against the total fee. The balance is due as set out in your booking agreement, normally before final delivery.

Prices quoted exclude travel outside the agreed area, permits, parking and any third-party costs, which are billed at cost.

Cancellation and rescheduling

The retainer secures your date and is non-refundable, because holding a date means turning other work away.

If you need to move a date we will do everything we can to accommodate the new one. Where we are available, the retainer transfers; where we are not, it is treated as a cancellation.

If we are unable to attend through illness or an event beyond our control, we will provide a professional replacement of equivalent standard or refund every amount paid.

Delivery

Delivery timescales are stated in your booking agreement and begin from the shoot date. Every delivered image is colour graded; the selection of which frames are delivered rests with us, in line with the agreed brief.

Raw or unedited files are not delivered as standard.

Copyright and usage

Copyright in all photographs and films remains with the photographer. Clients receive a licence to use the delivered work for the purposes agreed in writing — personal use for private commissions, or the commercial usage specified in a commercial agreement.

Extending commercial usage after delivery is possible and is quoted separately.

Our use of the work

We may show commissioned work in our portfolio, on social media and in submissions. If you would prefer your images were not shown publicly, tell us before the shoot and we will record that in your agreement.

On the day

We ask for reasonable access, safe working conditions and a schedule agreed in advance. Where a venue restricts equipment, lighting or drone use, those restrictions apply to us and can affect what is possible.

Liability

Our liability in relation to any commission is limited to the total fee paid for that commission. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
